EMH Hours Question

I have a question regarding the new EMH at night. If you are in another park until closing time, could you then hop over to whatever park is holding the EMH, even if it's past "normal" closing time? Or, is the program similar to E-Ride nights in that you have to be inside the park before it closes?

(And yes, I will be staying at one of the Disney resorts - WL to be exact.)

Any help would be appreciated - just trying to plan/rearrange things with the April schedule finally out. Thanks!

You can enter the EMH park at any time during the 3-hour period of EMH. You don't have to be there when it starts.

Does anyone know where to find the schedule? Also, when will April/May be posted? I'm getting frustrated with trying to make PS for our upcoming trip.

What if you don't have the hopping option? If EMH evening is at MK but you have been at MGM all day can you not use EMH? I plan on having the hopping option however if people can't hop that might make that park alot more crowded during the day and I would like to avoid that is possible. ;)

This is probably the most stupid question EVER asked......Do you have to have a ticket to get into EMH or is being a resort guest good enough? We are only there for 4 days, and only going to MK and MGM so we are just buying the theme park tix as needed.

We have too many PS's to arrange in order to be at the MK the day it has EMH, but we are available during the evening hours of EMH and if being a resort guest gets us in GREAT. If not, Oh well....(OK I can hear you all laughing at my stupidity) hope I made your day with this one!:rotfl2:

"To enjoy the Extra Magic Hour benefit, guests without the Park Hopper Option can only visit the park offering the Extra Magic Hour benefit that day or night." Which means, if you were in MGM during the day and EMH is at MGM that night, then you're good to go. If you were in MGM during the day and EMH is at MK that night, you're out of luck.

A valid theme park ticket and Resort I.D. are required to attend EMH. So, if you don't have a valid theme park ticket for the day of EMH, you can't take advantage of it. You can't just walk in with your Resort ID -- that would be like Disney letting you into the park for free for three hours. Why buy any park passes, then? Just go to EMH every day for free! (Not likely! :) ) If, however, you used a parkhopper ticket of any kind on that day -- you spent the day at MGM, say -- then you can go to MK for EMH.

I warned you it was a stupid question - I was just hoping that Disney was feeling all "warm and fuzzy" for their 50th Anniversary and decided to give out some free time to their guests.....One can dream
