EMH for DVC/AP or anything else?

Anyone know if there is any way to use extra magic hours without a current room key. I don't really want to cheat the system. Here's our problem:

DH and are going down next weekend for the Everest Preview. We are staying at the Hilton in DTD on Sat. night (free night because their valet wrecked my car last time we were there). We were originally planning to drive all night Friday night and get there early Sat. Morning. Now we have found a way to leave Friday morning instead. We are going to be getting there around 8:00pm on Friday night now.

I prematurly (before thinking it through) went to priceline and put in a request for a room in the Disney area for $50. I really didn't think that I would get it but, I did... So now we have a room at the Sheraton Safari Hotel. Which sounds fun but, now we realized that we can't get into Epcot for the EMH.

Does anyone have any suggestions on a way that we can go to Epcot for a couple of hours that night?

I don't think there is any way to go to evening EMH without a room card (at least not to ride the rides). They scan the card and then give you the bracelet so the CMs will let you on the rides

EMH is a perk for guests staying on the WDW property. If you aren't staying on the property, you won't be staying for EMH rides. Sorry.

As long as you get there before the park closes- you can stay and walk around and shop/eat- just not enjoy any attractions.

Or why not go to DTD that night? That would be fun.

Thanks for your responses! I don't want to get in the way of people who are staying in the Disney resorts. Up until this stay we have always stayed on property (except for many years ago when my parents use to take me to Disney). We are DVC members and AP holders. It was really just an accident that we ended up with a room off property but, I can't cancel a room through Priceline.

Any idea what time the shops close in DTD?

We will be at the Hilton in DTD the next night and can use the EMH that day (although we are planning to go to Animal Kingdom and won't use the privalege that day!). We had planned to go to DTD Sat. night.

But, if we can stay in Epcot as long as we don't ride rides, we might consider doing that! We just want to be there! Always trying to squeeze more time in at Disney!!! Originally for this trip we were going to spend 12 hours in the car and then have 24 hours in Disney and then 12 more hours home! And we will have to sleep sometime in there!
