EMH for Dolphin guests

Although we have been to WDW more times then I can count, this will be our first time at the Dolphin. We usually stay at the YC/BC so we are familiar with the area but just had a question about the EMH. I know they are available to Dolphin Guests, but how does it work? Is our room key a KTTW card? Do all guests staying in the room need to have their own key? We also have to purchase tickets (2 day hoppers..short trip!) should we do this via the hotel or online in advance? Any info is appreciated!

Yes, your room key will allow you access to EMH at the parks, and each person in your party will need one, so be sure to ask for as many as you need when you check in.

We usually order our tickets ahead of time from Undercover Tourist, but there is also a Disney desk in the lobby, if you'd rather purchase them in person.

thanks for the reply! Also, if purchasing tickets at the dolphin, can one member of our party do it for everyone or do we all have to be present?

Technically your Dolphin room key is not a KTTW card. You can't use it to charge items in the parks. But if you show it to CMs during EMH it will get you access to the attractions. You have to make sure everyone has a key.

Another vote for the Dolphin. We stayed there last summer and loved it. We had previously stayed at the Beach Club, and while it is a little bit closer to Epcot, for the price difference the Dolphin is a great choice. The beds are super comfy. I would stay there again in a heart beat!
