EMH... does it affect morning fastpasses greatly?

Hello all!

I noticed that the day I am going to MGM is when EMH is for MGM in the morning... My plan for that day was to try to get a fastpass for the 11AM showing of LMA... Does anyone know if the fastpasses will be gone for this showing by the time I get into the park due to those who are already there?

I am staying offsite so I can't take advantage of EMH... :confused3:

This maybe a weird question but just wondering if anyone had some info for me.. Thanks! :bounce:

If you are staying offsite, my best advise would be to rearrange your schedule. DO NOT go to an EMH park if it can be helped. By 11:00 the EMH park is usually VERY busy. We always stay onsite so we go to the morning EMH and try to leave that particular park by about 11:00 or 11:30 when it starts to get busy. But staying offsite, I just wouldn't attempt the EMH park.
However, if you just have to be there that day, be there before official opening time and head over to LMA as soon as they let you in.

We were just there a couple of weeks ago and did the same thing. We went to MGM EMH in the morning and did the big rides for the first hour or more. Then we headed over to the LMA show. By the time we got there, it was about 10:00. We were able to get a FP for the 11:00 show with no problem. We got in line for the show about 10:20 and had really good seats. The stadium is huge, so I don't think you'll have a problem. It never filled up while we were there. Hope that helps. :flower:

I really can't give you an answer to your question that I am sure is correct but I don't think the fast pass machines are in operation until regular opening time. The only advantage to those who are able to take advantage of mornimg EMH is that they are already in the park and you will have to fet to the fast pass machine from the gate, so they will have about a 15 to 20 minute advantage on you for fast pass not the whole hour of EMH time plus the 15 to 20 minutes for your travel time.
If you hae a real fast walker in your group I would suggest that you give that person all your tickets and have him/her b-line it to LMA fast pass machine [should be able to make it in about 10 minutes]. The rest of you can follow along at a more reasonable pace and meet up someplace in the park.

While we didn't do morning EMHs (so I can't comment on that), I just wanted to say that there's really no need to get a FastPass for LMA. We were there for the middle show (I wanna say 2ish) just a few days ago. We got there about 20 minutes before the show and got a great seat. The stadium is so huge that they were still letting people in after the show had started.

Don't worry about getting a FastPass for this one.

THANK YOU very much for all the tips everyone! Yeah, the only reason I was worried is because I will be going to WDW with my boyfriend, who doesn't love Disney as much as I do, but loves cars and was really excited about the show (duh he is a guy). So i HAD TO MAKE SURE i would be able to make the 11AM show since we have to work around our lunch and dinner reservations... Wouldn't be able to make 2PM or night showing...

again, THANKS!!
