EMH day vs. Saturday

Good morning everyone! My husband and I are trying to plan a last minute trip in March. I was thinking of driving down Thursday and going to Epcot and MK Friday & Saturday. My dilemma is that Friday is EMH for MK. We are staying off site so we would not be able to take advantage of it anyway and I know typically the park is more crowded on EMH days. However, I'm wondering if it would still be less crowded than on a Saturday? Driving down Friday and doing the parks Saturday and Sunday would also be an option, but I'm not sure how much worse the parks are on the weekend. I would greatly appreciate any advice!! It would be the weekend of March 18th. Thanks!

I had to make the same choice for next week. I chose Friday. I'm not a fan of the EMH mornings, but it's what I went with. The only thing I can think of is that the locals will probably visit more on the weekends than during the week perhaps?

I never pay attention to which park has EMH, I just go to where I'm in the mood to go. Having said that F&G will be happening at Epcot while you are there and I can't help thinking that at least WS might be a little more crowded on Saturday than Friday since locals tend to go on weekends.

^^ That's what we were thinking. Might be best to do Epcot Friday and MK Saturday, since both may be pretty crowded over the weekend.

Which park is "more important" in your overall view? I really like Epcot on Fridays, so if this were me I'd probably do Epcot Friday and just suck it up for MK on a Saturday. How important is F&G to you? I'd much rather do that on a Friday than a Saturday.

The past two years we went to MK on Saturday and it was evening EMH. We also went to MK in the middle of the week Tuesday and a Wednesday. The Saturday with EMH has been less crowded than Tuesday and Wednesday. So we are going with MK on Saturday again our next trip.
