hi i am confused about early magic hour...trying to plan adr for restaurant ressies to coordinate with what parks i'm going to on that day....went to the disney site and looked at the calendar with hours. are those the exact hours the parks are opened and closed because some days have the emh on them and now i am totally confused about the park hours...lol...sorry if i am confusing you with my own confusion!! anyway my days are thursday september 29 through sunday september 2. if anyone can help me it is very much appreciated!!! tia!! since we really have only 3 days i would like to coordinate my days in the parks with the days that open early or close later etc. i do know that saturday september 1 the mk will be open until 10 pm. so i have designated that as our mk day. but what about the other days-we would like to do ak and mgm...

You need to add the EMH on to the official park hours. For example, if Epcot closes at 9 on an EMH night, then it really is open till midnight for EMH guests. If it opens at 9 on an EMH morning, then it opens at 8 for EMH guests.

Ok let's start out by clarifying your dates, you said September 29th - September 1st, did you mean September 29th - October 1st?

Orange numbers are for morning EMH days and green numbers are for evening EMH days.

EMH hours are NOT included in the posted schedules. For example:

Sat, October 1- AK hours are posted as 9 AM to 5 PM. The morning EMH is at AK, so the hours for Resort guests would be 8 AM to 5 PM.

Sun, October 2- MGM hours are posted as 9 AM to 8 PM. The evening EMH is at MGM, so the hours for Resort guests would be 9 AM to 11 PM.

It's pretty easy- just add 1 hour in the AM or 3 hours in the PM to the park's hours that have the EMH that day.

oh duh sorry...yes my dates are sept 29 through oct 2 sorry i was typing sooo fast..i see on the disney website on oct 1 the mk is open from 9 until 10 pm.

Oct 1 - MK is indeed open from 9-10pm, AK has the morning EMH, so AK will be open at 8am for resort guests.
