We are headed to DLR June 20, 21, and 22nd. And this will be the first time without passes, so the first time we'll have MM available to us since we'll have 3-day hoppers. So after reading the Superthread, I've learned we can only use this on Thursday, June 21st. So we'll start at DCA on the other 2 mornings.

But then I also learned that on the 20th and 22nd, DLR resort guests will get access to DCA 1 hour before opening time. Meaning they will be able to go into the park at 7:00AM. So what time should we line up for DCA on Weds and Friday?

Thanks for the help!:goodvibes

Being that it will be a very busy time period, I personally would get there sometime between 7 and 7:30, but as early as possible. Depending on your place in line, I might also be on the lookout for those "Early Admission" marked gates to turn into "Entrance" gates. Then you could possibly snag a spot almost at the front of a line.

We also don't know yet how DCA will be doing rope drop or official opening procedures after the 15th. :confused3 They might be opening up BVS early like they do with Main Street across the way.

So is it confirmed that EMH at DCA is not a perk just for Resort guests?

DCA MM is a benefit to onsite DLR guests on M, W F and for AP holders on T, TH, Sat, Sun. At this time, 3+ day PH's only get MM to DL.

Op ~ I agree with DLR29 and would get there ASAP. You never know when they are going to allow people in...also, it is going to be pretty crowded...so the earlier the better.

Thank you... I asked for clarification on this yesterday in a thread.. but
you worded it much better! :)

It's a bummer w/a 6 day park hopper we only get 1 DL MM...
I guess we'll hope for the best by arriving early at DCA

Thanks for the help everyone - looks like we'll just get there as early as possible! Hopefully we'll learn from any mistakes Wednesday and not repeat them on Friday.

I also hope that DLR finds a better way to explain all these confusing, "EMH, MM, and APEE" dates to the general public. I doubt most people have any clue unless they do planning like disboards and such and would guess it will leave most families confused as to which days they are specifically allowed into each park. Can't imagine waking/getting ready, especially young excited kids, only to find out that you aren't valid for that day, etc. and watching other people enter. Sure to be some grumpy issues early in the morning. Watch out... :rolleyes1 Oh well, take the extra hour to enjoy a breakfast I guess! :coffee:
