In the past DH and I don't get room keys for are 3 kids, will we have to have room keys for them to use EMH? Since they added evening EMH we have not been and in the past we never even showed a room key.

Thanks

We don't get room keys for our kids either, but if you are staying on site your admission ticket is also your room key. So any person staying in the room that needs a ticket will in also have a room key. What we did was because our kids are 7 and 9, we just kept their cards with ours and didn't let them keep them.

EACH guest (except for very small children) will need to show a room key-card to a CM at special "EMH kiosks" set up in various locations throughout the park (they open up these kiosks approx. 2 hours before the "regualr" park closing time), and a wristband will be snapped on by the CM to each adult and child. Children older than 3 years old will be issued a room key when you check in if they are listed on your ressie. If they are not listed you will have problems... if they don't get issued a room key.
So make SURE the check-in desk issues each one a room-card.

That can often be the case, but it is far from ALWAYS being the case.

In the instance of Annual Passes, they are not put onto your room key.

There can also be many cases where you might be using non-expiring days left on a ticket from a former trip.

So...

Robo,

When I responded, I was thinking mainly of our recent trip down where we purchased the package deal. But you are correct, when my dh and I go down if we choose to stay on site and use our remaining tickets, they are not on the room key, though I thought we could request them to do so. . . . that's a whole other subject. . . .

So, luv2Mickey, you will need to make sure that everyone who needs a ticket to get in to the parks (they should already be on the ressie), will need their own room key for the EMH.

Get the keys for your children, otherwise they will not be allowed to ride at the EMH.

Maybe someone can answer this for me. We are staying at two hotels. Long story short got a great TA discount at AKL had already booked POP with Air. Now we are staying three night POP and 6 AKL. Purchasing tickets on arrival. Since they will be put on the POP cards can AKL transfer the days to their room key so we don't have to carry two keys for each person.

For room only reservations admission ticket information can be moved from one key to another as you change resorts.

Only one set of admissions can be on a given room key at any given time even if it is just a one day basic ticket. If you have a package for example a dining package for which tickets must be ordered, the tickets that came with the package will be on the room keys. Then if you planned on using annual passes or leftover passes you have to carry those passes separately. In addition you must be very very careful not to insert the room key into a turnstile when you are using a different pass for admission otherwise you wil waste the package admission ticket.

Thanks I'm glad to know we can transfer the days to the new room keys. It would be so confussing with all the cards. Only 9 days til RC Cruise and 12 til we arrive at WDW :cool1: :yay: :bounce:
