EMH and FastPass

I'm sure everyone out there knows the answer to this, but I cannot for the life of me remember...

During morning EMH, are you able to get FastPasses (for the rides that are open for EMH)?

Ok, I thought about it, and asked my sister (she didn't reply).. and I think the answer is no. Actually I'm almost positive.

But it also could have been because I went in January during a low attendence time.

I remember getting one for Buzz Lightyear (DS loves Buzz!) during EMH. It was for 10 or 11 am and we picked it up at 8:15 or so.

The last time I was there, you can get them early, but the earliest return time is 10:00.
