OK, I set our schedule and PSs based on some of the EMH hours. HOWEVER, it seems it is very different now. MK did have a AM on the 24th, but now it is a PM. The park says it is open until 11:00PM that night. Does that mean that they stay open until 2 AM?

How does Epcot work with the Evening EMH? Does World Showcase stay open until Midnight, and Future World until only 10:00PM?

Thanks!

I can see why you are confused.

The DIS website lists 6/24 as PM EMH, while allearsnet.com lists the same date as an AM EMH.

I checked the information with the Disney website and it was listed as 9am-11pm. Personally, I would go by what Disney says.

So, to answer your question, by going with the Disney times, the park would "close" at 11pm. This means that you need to get a bracelet for each member in your party if you would like to stay from 11pm-2am.

As for Epcot (and the other parks, as well), only certain rides and attractions are open during the EMH - not everything.

Here are the attractions open during Extra Magic Hours per the Disney website:

Magic Kingdom® Park
Mornings:
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Cinderella's Golden Carrousel, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, "it's a small world", The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Mickey's PhilharMagic, Peter Pan's Flight, Space Mountain®, Stitch's Great Escape!, Tomorrowland® Indy Speedway
Evenings:
Includes attractions listed above and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, The Haunted Mansion, The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Pirates of the Caribbean, Splash Mountain®

Epcot®
Mornings:
Mission: SPACE®, Spaceship Earth, Universe of Energy, Test Track
Evenings:
Includes attractions listed above and Honey, I Shrunk the Audience, Journey Into Imagination with Figment, Mexico-El Río del Tiempo, Norway-Maelstrom

Disney-MGM Studios
Mornings:
Muppet Vision 3-D, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster® Starring Aerosmith, Star Tours, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™
Evenings:
Includes attractions listed above and The Great Movie Ride, Playhouse Disney-Live on Stage!, Voyage of The Little Mermaid

Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park
Mornings:
Discovery Island™ Trails (AM only), It's Tough to be a Bug!®, Kilimanjaro Safaris**, Pangani Forest Exploration Trail® (AM only)
Evenings:
Includes attractions listed above and The Boneyard®, DINOSAUR, Festival of the Lion King, Kali River Rapids, Primeval Whirl®, Tarzan™ Rocks!, TriceraTop Spin

Honestly, I can't recall about Epcot.

I hope the rest of the information will be helpful. Let me know if you have any other questions! :)

Epcot's EMH is 9 - midnight for both sections. Most of the EMH rides in Future World stay open until 9 everynight, so the extra 3 hours are to midnight.

Just want to add that as above poster listed, World Showcase is not open during EMH, only the rides there. We couldn't even get a snack after Illuminations!

As we checked out of our hotel at 3 a.m. on June 2, a busload of people were returning from EMH at MK!!!

have fun! :flower:

On May 25th MK closed at 11pm then EMH extended for 3 hours was fun staying that late at MK. :goodvibes :wave2:

Will there be PM EMH for the month of November during Jersey Week and the week prior to Thanksgiving-week?

The Park hours come out three months in advance so you will need to check the Disney website for specific hours in August for November.

Actually it's only 2 months. August just came out last week. So for November, it would be 9/1.

Disney has been advertising EMH so I'm sure they will continue to have it for the rest of the celebration, if not longer.

Actually, I'm going to correct this statement, as well. According to allearsnet.com (http://allearsnet.com/tp/ohours.htm), "Walt Disney World generally publishes operating hours 1-3 months in advance; always with the caveat that they are subject to change."

Thanks for the information. I really wanted to know if World Showcase was open during the EMH, like the shops and such. Guess not! Oh well. Will be fun anyway just doing the rides.

Not a problem! I must admit that after a long day of walking and going on rides, my mind isn't usually on shopping! Spend a little extra dough for me! ;)

For about the last year, they've been pretty consistent with 60 days. They are definitely subject to change right up to the actual date.
