EMH & affect on crowds?

I'm sure it's no coincidence that the night Extra Magic Hours are the same as the days that the Unofficial Guide identifies as the days to visit that park. But now, with the EMH, is it still smart to go to the park prior to the EMH or should we hop over there close to closing?

I've never seen an increase in crowds because of the evening EMH. That was during May of last year. A lot of people do hop over later, so it really doesn't make that much of a difference.
