My family and I will be making our first trip to Disney World this summer. My daughter loves to watch Emeril on T.V. I was wanting to know if we would be able to eat at Emeril's Resturant even though we are not going to Universal? Any advice would be appreciated.

Yes, anyone can go, and there are 2 Emerils restaurants - Emerils at Citywalk, and Tchoup Chop at RPR. You can preview both at www.emerils.com, and even make reservations online.

Not sure how old your daughter is, but make sure that she realizes that Emeril will NOT be there to cook for her... just don't want her to be disappointed!!!

We ate at Tchoup Chop a few weeks ago... I recommend it HIGHLY!!!!

We didn't take the kids (we only live an hour from there), so don't know what's on their kids menu... but I DO know that they had one, because there were a few children in there.

Not sure what's on their kids menu, but if your kids like Chinese food, they have a 'side order' (the size of a MEAL) of pork fried rice that is the best I've ever eaten!!!! We ordered it with our meals, and it was soooooo good!

My family and I have a reservation for Tchoup Chop during our upcoming trip to Universal Orlando in July. From what I read they do offer a kids menu which includes specialty drinks and desserts with the kids in mind. A few of the entrees include Tempura Chicken Nuggets, Fettucine Alfredo, Hamburger with French Fries and Filet Mignon with Mashed Potatoes.

We made our reservation via OpenTable com. The reviews all say that you will not be disappointed. We will be the judge of that after our meal...we can't wait!!!

Emeril's has a terrific kids menu and it turns into a chefs hat for the kids! Here is the menu:

Assorted interesting drinks concocted for kids....$5.00

Entrees

Chicken Nuggets with dipping sauce.

Fettucine Alfredo plain or with shrimp added.

Chicken Spring Rolls with dipping sauce.

Baby Bam Burger with fries

Grilled Filet Mignon with mashed potatoes, green beans and a reduction sauce...(excellent my son gets this!)

Desserts

Ice Cream Sundaes

Gooey Ooey Brownies (depends on taste but my kids hated this it was way too rich)

Chocolate dipped strawberries (amazing and delicious)

Banana Pudding with homemade vanilla wafers.

This menu is for children 12 and under....Enjoy!

My nine year old daughter had the burger off of the kids menu. It looked so good I had to have a bite and it was the best hamburger I have ever eaten. Even better than a 20 dollar burger I had in Texas. Also, even if you do not usually do desert, try the bannana creme pie. I would drive the 8 hour drive to get there just for a slice of that pie. Mmmmmm....

If you go to www.emerils.com, it has the prices. The kids prices are not listed, but I read those on another site (not sure which one) and I want to say that those are either 10.00 or 10.99. HTH!

The prices are not listed on Emeril's website for Emeril's in Orlando. They are listed for Tchoup Chop.

DH and I just dined at Tchoup Chop for dinner last Saturday. It was one of the best meals we ever had. The service was excellent. They really bent over backwards to make sure we had a great meal. We plan on going every time we visit but will probably use a babysitter for the kids.

As for the babysitter, are you talking about the ones that they offer at the hotel (clubs for the kids). I am thinking of doing that for the night at Tchoup chop. Would love to hear any experiences in using that.

We (me, DH, DD) ate at Tchoup Chop last summer and it was easily the best meal we have ever had! I would go back there in a heartbeat. It is pricey, for the 3 of us, the bill was well over $200 but worth every penny.
