Emerils or tchoup choup

I haven't dined at Emeril's, but I have at Tchoup Chop. The Emeril's menu doesn't even remotely interest me (not a fan of Cajun & Creole cuisine). Tchoup was awesome and I plan to go back next month. Also, I really love the atmosphere.

Thanks...we see things on both menus we like. We've been to Emerils twice.. so I thought we might change it up.:confused3

Tchoup Chop completely blows Emeril's out.
Better food,atmosphere,value,service and cool factor.
I'd rate Emeril's under Bice as well.
Not that I haven't have eaten at all 3 at least once this year:thumbsup2

Tchoup Chop was FANTASTIC. Nothing at Emerils appeals to me, so I can't help there, sorry.

I've eaten at both many times, and I have to say Emril's:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 .. try the BBQ shrimp, with a rosemary bisquit!!! Yummy!!!!! They only put up the mainstays on the website, but I say Emril's !!!!! But saying that the shrimp puffs R yummy!!!!!!

This will be our 3d yr in a row for Tchoup Tchoup. DS7 requested it as his birthday dinner! Great food, pretty restaurant.

Tchoup Tchoup all the way. Went to both on my honeymoon last May. In fact Tchoup Tchoup was the best meal we had of our two weeks at Universal/Disney.

To quote that great British poet . . . Mick Jagger . . . "Too much is never enough."

Tchoup Choup ~ we had probably the best meal of our lives there. LOVE IT!!!!

Tchoup Choup for sure. TC is very elegant and relaxing with the tropical theming. Plus if you're not staying at the RP then its definitely worth a boat trip over to the RP for a visit. Plus the menu is creative and I really liked the food there. Emerils to me is a little boring and the atmosphere is a little ho hum, not exciting at all IMO. I mean don't get me wrong, if they were giving away free food at E I'd go, but you know what I mean. :lmao:

On the other hand if you are actually staying at the RP, I'd recommend doing TC for a night and E on another. But I would actually prefer to go to Margaritavilles and save a little cash than do E, just not worth the extra bucks IMO.

I think the biggest differance for me is price and tchoup choup has reasonabe prices while Emerils is pretty expensive at the cheapest plate is $35.00 :scared1:

My wife and I prefer Tchoup Chop because of the atmosphere, location and quantity/quality of food. We usually stat at RPR which is where Tchoup Chop is located. The lily pond in the middle of the restaurant is a very nice touch too! We've also eaten at The Palm Restaurant at HRH and thought that the steaks served at Tchoup Chop are better.

Been to both. Love both....however.
Emerils is just a chain. Nothing unique or exciting here.
Tchoup chop is found only at Royal Pacific, its the one place he had a huge hand in, and still comes to eat when he's at his home in Florida.
Love the atmosphere, as everyone else does. Love the lily pond, simply amazing. It is a luau feel with a high end japanese atmosphere....like you were lost in the Fiji islands. A lot of the food is the same, but the menu ALWAYS changes at Tchoup Chop. I must severely recommend the banana creme pie.....DEAR god.....
Now on a sad note, it was where my ex wife and I spent our last three anniversaries...so I wont be dining there on a romantic evening any longer.

I have yet to eat at any of them. When we were there in Apiral for DW's b-day we looked at the menu of Tchoup Chop and there was nothing she liked on it at all. From what she seen is mostly seafood which she dont like.I'm sure there is steak or something that she would enjoy, but she is A dye hard seafood-fish hating person.I want to try it so bad but want her to enjoy her meal before I do mine.
If it was me bring on the calamari, seabass, rice etc.
