Hi All - Our reservations are made. I know the website says no sleeveless shirts for men, but I am assuming Polo shirts are OK? What about a nice pair of khaki shorts?

Also, I've read the AAA discount is honored for food. Does Emeril's honor it? I would prefer not to embarrass myself by asking the night of.

A polo shirt is fine. I would say no to the khaki shorts. I believe that the Emeril's is the only restaurant that doesn't accept the AAA card at Citywalk.

What about my DS12? Can he wear dress shorts or should I bring along a pair of dress pants? What about footwear?

Never ate there, but heard its casual dress code.No sleevless shirts of coarse.

But never seen anyone walking through CW in a three piece suit to go eat their :lmao: I think khakis(shorts)would be fine..

Have ate At Tchoup-Chop in blue jean shorts and a pull over shirt..With a baseball cap on the whole time(maybe thats why I was getting strange looks, the hat)

Donn;t know about AAA discounts:confused3

if you eat at the counter section at tchoup tchoup with jeans and tourist type of clothing, you'll be among others dressed the same way....

i figure, i'll never see all those people again.
and if i do and they say anything to me, i'll say it must have been my twin sister that dressed so ragged..........:rolleyes1

We went this past May and my dh wore shorts. . .he didn't pack anything else. They were not blue jean and he wore a nice polo shirt and he was just fine. My girls wore whatever shirts and I think each of them had blue jean skirts on. I wore black capris.

Our service was fine and no one else was really dressed up. I think the concierge at HRH called it resort casual, as I asked him when I requested our reservations. DH said he would not be going to a restaurant that required a sport coat or tie. No one looked down their noses at us at it was our dd's first time at a "nice" restaurant. The staff was very accommodating of our family and we absolutely enjoyed our meal/evening there.

It's a not to be missed in my book.

I Live Here, We Have Eaten In All Of The Eatery's At City Walk And In Most Of The Hotels. I Do Not Wear Long Pants, Period. I Have Never Been Turned Away. Go Comfortable And Enjoy Some Fine Food. Dressing For Dinner Or Lunch Is Over Rated. This Is Orlando Where People Come For Vacation. It's Not A Tie Required Kind Of Town, Retiredcharlie

i like how you put it charlie..

there should be more people like you.
:goodvibes

Yeah! That is one thing I like about theme parks. Dress how you feel comfortable! That was one thing about the cruise that was a bit of a pain - the dressing (sort of) up for dinners. If you have been out all day, I do like to freshen up and maybe wear a comfy sundress or capris, but who wants to have to get dressed up at a theme park area?
