Emerald Reserve verses Emerald Aisle

I just rented a full size car with emerald reserve. What is the difference between EA and ER ? Can I still just go across the street to the garage and pick a full size car? TIA

With Emerald Reserve you get the car class that you reserve. You can choose any vehicle in the full size aisle.
With Emerald Aisle you reserve and pay for a midsize but you can take whatever is in the Emerald Aisle whether it's a midsize, fullsize, minivan, SUV or whatever you happen to find. You are guaranteed at least a midsize but you might get lucky and get something better.
For both of them you can walk out to the parking garage and just choose the vehicle and pass in the paper work at the exit booth.
