Emerald Island Transportation To Wdw

Hi, We are staying in a villa at Emerald Island Oct. 29-Nov.6. The community claims it has shuttles to the parks. Has anyone here used the shuttle? Does it have a fee? What hours does it run? We will have a rental car-is it just much easier to use that?

These boards have been wonderful-thanks in advance for any help!

We are staying at EI in December. I don't know about a shuttle. We have stayed other places off site that offer shuttles but we always drive our rental car. Most off site shuttles run every hour. You then have to plan on being back at the pickup point at a certain time. If you miss it, you may wait another hour. Parking only cost $8 and is good for the entire day at any park. You can leave and come back without having to pay again.

Hi, I totally agree with Keacc...I am very familiar with Emerald Island as we owned a home there. I have never seen a shuttle which leads me to believe that either your source is mistaken or they have one of the big shuttle buses that stops at many places come by. That is very slow and cumbersome....

Driving to and from and within Disney is very easy....I strongly support driving vs. shuttles...
