Emerald Island to Bahama Breeze

We are heading down in FEb. for a brake from the winter weather up in New England. I have been hearing about this restaurant Bahama Breeze. We want to go and check it out. I would love to know where it is? We also are staying in a home so we can get take out and eat by the pool. Do you know if they do take out or deliver? Once my kids get into their suits I can never get them out of the pool so delivery is the bomb. Any other suggestions for delivery is welcome.

Hi !

I have eaten at Bahama Breeze a couple of times. It is like a Carribbean type food. Very good. There is one on International Drive and one over by Vistana Resort (can't think of the name of the road).

I don't remember seeing where they deliver though. But I am sure you will be able to get take out.

Thanks Vistana is closer then International drive. Have heard lots about it and it sounds a little exotic. We like that.

The one closest to Disney is at 535 and Apopka-Vineland Road. If you take Hotel Plaza Drive out of WDW, turn right, go past I-4, and turn left at the next light (Apopka-Vineland). It's in with the Golden Coral. Definitely worth visiting.

Not really my cup of tea (good ideas, poorly executed), but I understand why they're popular. They do get very busy, so be prepared for a wait.

The Vineland Road restaurant is closer to Emerald Island - take the I-4 to exit 68 and it is directly across the road as you exit onto the 535.

The Formosa Gardens shopping center is a two minute drive from EI and has quite a few restaurants including TGIs, Outback Steakhouse, Taste of China, Giordano's and Red Lobster, together with a couple of fast food places (Subway, Taco Bell, Dairy Queen). Just a little further west (a block or two at most) is Carrabbas (Italian). Both Carrabbas and Outback Steakhouse do kerbside take-out - we prefer Carrabbas. Your villa is sure to have menus - try the kitchen drawers!

Thanks for the directions. I have used all of the restaurants at the top of the street but we want to be adventurous. It sounds exotic but still family friendly. You all seem so acknowledgable what is the best Chinese in the area?
