Emerald Island Resort

Hi,

EI is a new development that is one the very closest to Disney...homes are quite expensive and are primarily weekly rentals...EI has a clubhouse, pool, spa, exercise room, game room, and free internet.

It is 6-7 minutes to Disney via Sherberth Rd to Animal Kingdom...
I would not hesitate to recommend staying at any home or condo in EI

Enjoy....

Ted

We're actually here at Emerald Island right now - just arrived today. It's absolutely beautiful. We're in a 4 bedroom, 3 bath home and can't believe how gorgeous it is. The community is very nice. We just moved over to Emerald Island after a week at Windsor Palms because we wanted to experience both developments, and the two resorts are very comparable. I would highly recommend either!!

We stayed in Emerald Island this past November and loved it. We would go back in a heart beat!!! It was very convenient, and very well maintained. I just can't say enough about it.

Thank you everyone..I think we are going ot book the vill ain Emerlad Island

Thank you so much for putting my mind at ease. How is the clubhouse/community pool area? We are looking into renting a brand new home that has 5 bedrooms.

Have you been to the parks yet from EP? Is it far? Are you finding there are stores and restaurants close to it as well?

The clubhouse is nice - fitness room with new equipment and tv, and a games room for the kids (with air hockey table and three arcade games). There is a nice hot tub behind the clubhouse, but the community pool isn't huge. Of course, if you have a villa with private pool and hot tub (like we do) that isn't really an issue!! The homes here are really new and are beautifully furnished and equipped. It's just like being in your own house - only nicer! Our kids have decided they want to stay...:)

The development is very conveniently located. It's about a 10 minute drive to WDW if you take the shortcut (take Funie Steed Road over to Sherberth Road). You'll find it's fast and easy access to WDW. Windsor Palms (where we stayed last week) is a couple of minutes further away, but is also very close.

We have been hitting the parks when they open, then coming back to the house early in the afternoon for a break and a swim, then going back late afternoon. It's easy to do because of the location. With regard to shopping and restaurants, Hwy 192 is all of two minutes away from the development, and there is a mall with a grocery store, Outback restaurant, Eckerds and other stores there. Anything else you need is easily found along 192.

There owned and operated by individuals so the prices vary so what because of the amenities the house have. There is a new web site emeraldislandvillarentals.com
you can get an idea of the prices. The resort is wonderful to look at an even greater to stay in. You will not be diappointed.
