We're going to rent in Emerald Island too! Haven't booked our house yet, though. A friend rented a house there last spring and said it was great!

Yes I have stayed there and is just wonderful, the ladys name is Lucy that owns it.

The only thing though is that I would not book it through that site, you may get charged more as he charges commisions, he works like an agent... Book it direct with the owner you can find it on www.daystarvillas.com thats where I booked it and got a great deal.

Thanks for the tip, but I already contacted both FHVR and the home owners. I didn't know I could go through just the owners. Our price is $1062 for 7 nights. I thought that was pretty good.
