Emerald BOOTH Service?

I'm renting a car through National at the airport in Richmond, VA and it says my level of service is Emerald Booth. I am an Emerald member and wanted to rent at Emerald Aisle. I have seen Emerald Aisle and Emerald Reserve listed before, but never Emerald Booth. Does anyhow know what this is?

Not every airport has Emerald Aisle. It sounds like the case. I rented a car in Jacksonville once, I had to go to a booth in the garage to get the keys and paperwork (not the inside counter), the car was assigned, I couldn't pick.

**I checked the National Car website, Richmond is not on the list of Emerald Aisle locations.

Thanks, Debbie. No sense in renting midsize at National if I can't use the EA when I can get full size at Alamo for about $30 less!

I had the same type of thing last week at Humphrey terminal at MSP...everybody has to stop at the counter regardless of level of service. In fact there was no booth at all - no keys in the cars - the agent gave me a set of keys at the counter and the parking spot number, and then I was free to go without showing paperwork again.
