Other people's reviews always helped me, so I figured I should repay the favor and maybe help out someone else! :goodvibes

Hair: Ana with Beaute Speciale (I did my own makeup)

Ana was WONDERFUL! I gave her a handful of pictures and she did an amazing job! She actually did my hair three times: once for a trial which she then twisted into an updo for me, once for the day of the wedding, and again for my Magic Kingdom photo shoot. She was friendly and prompt and very easy to talk to. The trail and day of where $65 each and the 4 am Magic Kingdom day was $115.

These are the inspiration photos I gave Ana:

Floral, linens, and favors: Rose with Disney

I only had an idea for my bouquet when I went to my planning session. Rose helped me work out everything else and was very accommodating when I trimmed the budget again and again!

This is the inspiration for my bouquet:

And here's what Rose did:

My bridesmaids bouquets were also my center pieces. We did organza overlays and white chocolate tea cup favors:

Disney was more expensive than using an outside vendor, but the quality was amazing and everything turned out beautifully. If I hadn't actually come out under budget, though, those $6.50 favors wouldn't have happened!! ;)

Photography: Karla Fountain

This was the best choice I made! She was worth every penny and more! Both her and her assistant were fun and friendly and they captured every moment. I was regretting not getting a video until I saw her pictures! If I could make one suggestion to other couples it would be to find a photographer you love and then not worry about the cost. These are the best memories I could have asked for!

They can be seen at www.karlafountain.com under proofs - Steven and Brandy, password "williams"

Here's my a few of my favourites:

And just a note on the Magic Kingdom photo shoot, because I know a lot of couples hum and haw over this (we sure did). It IS expensive, the photos are formulaic and not overly creative, you do have to get up really early, and all you get are the proofs and pre-selected folio. But it is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I found the Disney photographers to be decent to work with (we had Ty). He let us ask for some shots and was fairly laid back. After all is said and done, I'm glad we did it. I just wish it could have been Karla taking the pictures!! :rolleyes1

you were such a pretty bride:) Thank you for sharing. I am using Ana to do our makeup, I am a hairdresser and so is one of the girls in the bridal party so we are doing the hair.

Ember you made such a lovely bride and your pictures made me definately decide on Karla Fountain. Was she good to work with?

Everything looks so beautiful: the flowers, the favors, your dress! She did a great job on your hair and your make-up looks so great - want to do mine?!?!?? :rolleyes1
Will we get to see a TR soon? ;)
Congralulations! :goodvibes

oooohhhh...........so pretty

i love the pink colors!!
your flowers are very cool
i love how flowy your dress looks....very neat
the pics infront of the red background are awesome against the BMs pink dresses!!
Cute pic of you guys with no shoes
& the table settings are incredible

looks like a fantastic wedding

Congrats!!!!!!

wow, your photographer did an amazing job! everything looked so pretty, congrats!

Thank you! Karla can be a little hard to get a hold of at times (before the wedding I couldn't get a hold of her at all!) but on the day of she was utterly amazing. I think the secretarial part of her job isn't something she enjoys as much. But it's a small thing considering how great she is at her job! (Seriously, I do not look that good in person! LOL)

I love your tables did they work out expensive??

Let see...
*The dusty rose organza overlays were $38/ea
*The swag at four points was $16/ea
*The ribbon on the napkins was $2/ea
*The centerpieces were the bridesmaids bouquets at $140/each (I admit, I was a little disappointed in them, they didn't look like $140 worth of flowers, but at least they served double duty)
* The shot glass votives (three clusters of three on each table) were $2.50/ea
* The tea cup favors were $6.50/ea

Well I just posted all my questions as a reply to your link in the Photo thread - d'oh! And here you've answered them all, so I'll just say how gorgeous you looked and that your wedding looked like it was amazing! :thumbsup2

Thanks so much for helping out and posting those reviews. It's been especially hard for me trying to decide what to do about hair and makeup so thanks! :goodvibes

What wonderful pics! You looked fantastic! This is great to be able to get reviews on the vendors thank you so much for the input

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE your hair!!! I have been trying to find a style that is really 'me' and your styles is PERFECT!!!!!!!

Oh my! Your favors were so awesome! Surely no one actually ate theirs!! lol I would've tried to get my little teacup back home with me to keep forever! :goodvibes

Such amazing pictures! Do you have a TR? I can't seem to find it :(

I didn't do one... I don't think I'm very good at journal type things (though I like reading other people's)... Is there anything specific you'd like to know?
