Will be staying at Embassy Suites soon and wondered if anyone has had good/bad experience there?
Thanks!

Check tripadvsior.com for hotel reviews.

Also you post on the wrong section of the board. This should to the Orlando hotels and Attractions board. That's where all the offsite people hang out.

I am just trying to help out a newbie.

Welcome to the board.;)

LOL...sorry....

I have stayed at ES LBV in 1999 and it was wonderful. I had no complaints whatsoever. I posted a review on Brian Bennetts site back then (you would have to search, I don't have the URL for Brian right off hand).

great property...great location...

have fun planning!

I was not trying to be rude monkeyboy. I was trying to be helpful.

That comment did not come out like won't to.

Lets' try it again.

The orlando and attractions would be the most helpful to if looking for offsite hotels. They are the experts offsite hotels.

I sorry for being rude.

Hello...If I could afford it this is where I would stay every trip....Enjoy....and I am jealous!!!

um...aren't we on the Orlando Hotels & Attractions board or was this moved to this board?

the Orlando Magic card can be ordered thru the orlandoinfo.com site.....

the Magic card will get you a rate of:

peak season: $119.00
off season: 99.00

this is a super price for this hotel....I also would try to call the hotel for an even better rate (it worked for us a few years back)

happy planning!

Hi,

We are planning a stay in early November and we ordered the Orlando Magic card.....I noticed Esmerelda stated you could get $99 off peak or $119 high peak season. When I received my card a month or so ago, it stated that the rates were now $119 off peak and $129.99 peak. I called yesterday to get the $119 rate and they said "those rooms are all now sold out". I booked the $129.99 then called AAA (we have a membership) and we got the room for $119. I then called back the hotel reservations and cancelled the reservation for $129.00. Esmerelda.........when you say "call and see if you can get a better rate" what rate did you get? I asked for a better rate yesterday and they said all they could do was the $129. Do you have any other info stating that the rates are $99 off peak? Thanks for the info!:Pinkbounc

A few years back when we stayed there, I couldn't get the reservations part of their website to work. I ended up calling the hotel directly. I told the girl of my dilemma and I ended up getting a better rate thru the actual hotel than I would have online. Just politely say "do you have any better rate than the Orlando Magic card?". Sometimes you come out ahead...

FYI: $129 still is a good deal for this hotel...we really enjoyed our stay there.

best of luck!
Esmerelda
