Embassy Suites vs DLH

I currently have DLH booked for our trip. DH love Embassy Suites, bec. of the 2 room situation - he likes having our own room & tv w/ the 3 kids in their own room. Is it so far from DLR that we would regret the extra walking? Embassy also has an awesome free breakfast. Will we be missing out on lots of magic by staying offsite? How do they do the sleeping situation w/ 3 kids at DLH? Do they have a roll away for the 3rd child?

DLH has some rooms with a daybed. They will also bring up a rollaway if requested.

I understand your dilemma. You really wouldn't want to walk to the parks from the Embassy Suites--it's over a mile. They do have the ART shuttle available, but it makes several stops, so you'd have to plan for that timewise.

If you really want two rooms, look into some of the two-room suites in the motels across the street from DL. They're certainly not as nice as either Embassy Suites or DLH, but most of them do offer a free continental breakfast, and the walkability makes it really nice!

This is the link to my review of the Embassy Suites South. I can't say enough good things about it! But it is too far to walk when you are walking in the park all day. We did actually walk to DLR from our hotel on Sat which was our blockout day for our APs. We just looked around DTD that day and also walked over to Garden Walk. In my review I gave easy driving directions or you can take ART.

We paid $150 a night which is cheaper than the DLR hotels and in my opinion you get a lot more for your money. I just wish I could pick up that hotel and plop it down next to DLR! You have to decide if which is more important to you- closeness to DLR or all the offerings of nice hotel with a large room. That answer is different for everyone.
