Ok I have got it down to two hotels and I need to book tomorrow. Here is our scoop and where I need help.

Our family of five who always stays on site is going with my hubby while he works in Irvine. We will be in town for seven nights and his company is picking up the bill including things like parking. I should also mention he may drop us at the park in the morning but getting back and forth to the hotel in the day if we desire will be via ART, Taxi or foot power.:) As for food I know ES has a cook to order but the rate at AH includes a full breakfast too. From the pictures the AH looks really nice and the online reviews look good as for the ES we have stayed many times so it is more the location and the indoor pool that has me stumped....

So here is where I need help.....
Is the pool at AH nice? We will be there the 3rd week of March so weather is iffy but for us from Seattle does not take much to seek sun. The ES has only an indoor pool which I imagine is pretty small???? Yes the ES rooms are bigger but the hotel is further is it worth the drive and an indoor pool??? I have also considered doing half at one place and half at the other.....

So what would you all do? Thank you in advance to everyone who reads and chimes in with any thoughts to ponder.....:thumbsup2

Where would you all stay? :confused3

That's a tough decision. We stayed at the Anaheim Hilton many years ago and loved it. It has also been beautifully renovated in recent years. The pool is outdoor and very nice. It also more amenities than the Embassy Suites as it is a huge hotel. It is also much closer to the park. My only concern with a family of 5 is the size of the room.
Which Embassy Suites are you referring to? The Embassy Suites South has an OUTDOOR pool, so you could still enjoy the sun. We also love this hotel for the spacious rooms, but it is farther. If you are talking about the Embassy Suites North, It is farther still, and I think their pool is indoors, however, they have their own shuttle which could be a plus.
My choice if you're ok with the lack of space would be Anaheim Hilton. I just think it would be quicker to get back to and would offer more amenities for your family.

We have stayed at the Anaheim Hilton several times and like the location. We have a family of 4, so space in the room was not an issue for us. It is walkable from the parks, which we liked. The pool area is nice as well. We were there over New Year's one year and DDs went swimming outside, so March should be fine. We have relatives (family of 5) with older kids who love the ES South, though. They rely on Art for transportation and find it to be easy. Either way, you will be happy, especially with work underwriting a lot of the expense! Enjoy your trip.
