Embassy Suites Lake Buena Vista

Has anyone stayed here by chance? Just wondering how this particular hotel rates. How is the transportation to and from WDW? Would we be better off driving our own car to and from?

We've never stayed at that particular hotel, but we have stayed at three others right around it. It looks like a very nice place.

We've never used hotel transportation from that area. It is really easy to drive and get around on your own. We found it very simple to get to not only WDW, but Universal, Sea World, and other central Florida attractions.

We were only a 10 minute drive from our parking spot at the MK. (very early in the morning).

We love the LBV area. Lots of places to eat and shop and not much hassle getting to any of them.

Two other hotels in the area I highly recommend: Hawthorne Suites and Homewood Suites.

This is a nice place to stay. We stayed there a few years back & had no complaints. We really prefer to stay in the LBV area rather than by 192...so much faster to get around.

The LBV Residence Inn is another great option.

We've stayed there multiple times in the last 4 years. It's actually my husband's favorite hotel in the Orlando area. We've stayed on Disney property (CB, AKL) our latest 2 trips this year but he prefers the Embassy Suites location since we generally go to Universal and Sea World in addition to WDW. It's very well kept up, the pool is nice and the staff is fantastic. The rooms are always clean and the "free" cooked to order breakfast is very good. The main breakfast cook, Ed, is hillarious and our boys look forward to seeing him every trip. We will be staying there before and after a 7 day DCL cruise next May. I have never used Embassy Suites transportation since we've always used a rental car, but I do know that they offer some sort of daily transportation (not sure of the times) to and from the parks.
