Hello again...Ok I'm driving myself crazy! Can anyone give me info on this hotel. I think it is close to Cross roads in LBV or am I really wrong!Oh just help me! puckerup:

there is a Embassy Suites Hotel - Lake buena Vista Resort - at 8100 Lake Ave

there is also Embassy Vacation Resort Grand Beach - a timeshare - 8317 Lake Bryan Beach Blvd - this is across from the Sheration Vistana Resort.

which one are you talking about?

:( Well...I don't know what Tug is..sorry...Is it the Grand Beach Embassy Vacation Resort they give mixed views? Can someone tell me what tuggers are? I feel Dumb.

my fault

tug - timeshare users group - a bunch of timeshare owners - they do reviews of the timeshares that they visit.

you can join it - you don't have to own a timeshare - but if you do they are definitely worth it.

one year is $15, after the first year you get a discount.

most of the DVC's and Marriott have at least a 9.

So this resort is not as popularity.

Trisha..........

Are you interested in the suite hotel or the 2/3 bedroom condo?? I don't know much about the suites but I've heard a lot of good things on here about the 3 bedroom condos.

I think they are both at the same location........a one bedroom suite hotel and then the condos..........because the websites have the same address. We stayed at Vistana this past Sept. and Embassy Grand Beach was just down the road from us. It looked really nice. In fact, it is one of the ones I am interested in staying in because it has 3 bedrooms. It's a little out of my price range though, unless it comes up on skyauction, which it has in the past but haven't seen it for a while.

It is very close to DD so it is in a great location. We were only 15 max. to the parks. We loved being over there.........DD was about 5 min. or less from our condo.

Sorry I couldn't be more help.

We stayed here in Feb. 2002 and loved it! We stayed in a 3br condo that I won on SkyAuction for a total of $222 for the week (SkyAuction fee included!!!). the condo was fabulous...sparkling clean, comfortable beds, full sized appliances in the kitchen (including washer/dryer). The kitchen, dining and living room are one big, open area. LR had a sofa bed and a HUGE TV in an armoir, love seat, wing chair. Dining area had table seating for 8. Off the LR there was a screened-in balcony with a ceiling fan. Can't tell you how much I loved having my morning coffee out there. The master bedroom had a king bed, jacuzzi, shower stall, potty, TV. I watched the Olympics from the jacuzzi tub! The second bedroom was a second MASTER bedroom, complete with jacuzzi...DD was 8 at the time, we'd moved from a house to a tiny apartment (her br measured 7x11), she was in heaven! It's truly the only time I've seen her seriously opt for lazing around the house in the morning instead of buzzing off to WDW! The 3rd bedroom had 2 twin beds and its own TV. There was a full bathroom (tub, shower, etc) across the hall from the 3rd br. We were never hassled for a timeshare tour, had no trouble checking in (I was concerned since it was a SkyAuction thing). We only went to the pool once...no big bells and whistles, but certainly adequate, and I believe there was a hot tub there also. Our unit overlooked the lake, and since we were on the 3rd floor there was a beautiful view. I also remember there being a volleyball area, maybe a kid's play area. There was a clubhouse, didn't really go in but I think there were organized activities each night, movie rentals, a convenience store. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the parking...there was enough, but some of it was under the buildings (street level...the 1st floor units were at 2nd floor height, if you know what I mean). It was like being in a parking garage. Nothing bad, I just chose to park outside... Anyhow, the condo was clean, well-appointed, and we loved it...felt like a luxury vacation (especially with what we paid!). I don't know how it measures up with a lot of the time shares, but we've stayed at Marriott's Cypress Harbour and Marriott's Grand Vista. I really like CH, liked ESGV as well and certainly like ESGV WAY better than Grand Vista. However, we go to Orlando to go to the parks...we're not big into swimming pools or theming. As long as the accomodations are clean, spacious, and comfy, we're happy, but we really felt the ESGV villa was terrific!!!

I wish there was someone out there who has stayed in the 1 bedroom, but I guess they must be nice if the 3 bdrm is nice, right. I can't complain for the price 4 night for 117.00 :earseek: :cheer2: Not too bad huh?

Where did you find the price of $117 for four nights? I amy looking for something in that range. Is it a time share deal? Thanks. Waiting for April!

I don't think there is a separate 1 bedroom suite hotel at this location. We stayed there in May of 03 and they were getting ready to expand, but not with any one bedrooms.

This resort has 2 separate areas, one with "dedicated " 3 bedrooms, ( this is the first phase) and a newer phase which is considered 3 bedroom Lockoffs. The 3 bedroom Lockoffs are essentially a 2 bedroom condo, with a connecting door to an additional smallish studio ( as I call it) suite. This suite had a separate ( without a door) sitting and kitchen area, a small bath and a king bed. This small suite maybe what they are calling a one bedroom, but I do not think there is a door that can be closed between the sitting area and the sleeping area.

For what it's worth, I'd go back here in a minute! It was clean nice and the staff was very friendly! And, even though the studio/lockoff side was small, it was very nice and would be great for a couple.

:cheer2: I got a rate of 39.oo a night with the first night free. I'll find the web site for you if interested, I know I just checked again and it was up to 59.00 1st one free. The was one oher condo that I noticed looked just as nice for 39.00 let me know if you want me to look those up for you.
It will just be my BF and I :D so no kids this time, I was just wondering if the 1 bedroom is as nice as the 2or3? Or is it a glorified hotel room?

Anyone ever gone waterskiing or boating on Lake Bryan? We are staying at the Embassy Grand Beach in June - never been there, but reading that they have watersports on the lake. Looks like it must be a very small lake, and I would assume there is no public boat launch... doubt I would want to pull a boat to Orlando from Cincinnati anyway...

there are one bed apartments in the newer blocks at Embassy Grand Vacations at Little Lake Bryan..

They are newer than the 3 bed condos (which we love!) - it is one of our favorite resorts.. yes its a little tired in places, but it is friendly.. we love the staff there (not the check in staff!!) and we love that it is tiny. Also we love that there is under building parking so you dont have to get into a really hot car!!!

The one beds are like Vistana.. (in fact its right opposite Vistana!) - if you are interested I have some great pictures of the resort. Its beautiful!

No, you couldnt bring your own boat. its not a tiny lake.. it actually looks quite large and there is a beach etc.. we often see people on the lake when we are there.

A friend of my did the waterskiiing thing on Lake bryan, from Embassy grand beach.. He said it was great! He really liked the boat driver and had a wonderful time!. He is a hardcore water skier and a very critical person, so I was very surprised when he had so many good things to say about it.

We are leaving for this resort tommorrow. When we get back I'll do a trip report. We got the 3 bedroom for 1 week at www.condo-trader.com for $550.00 for the week.
