Ok, true confessions time: I'm more nuts over the characters than my kids are. Oh sure, they love seeing them and having a picture taken and such, but I really love seeing characters.

So, on our next trip we have a couple of character meals planned thanks to Free Dining. This will be a first for us. Obviously the characters will interact with the kids at these things....How about adults?! When they come to our table can I have just as much fun as my boys?!!!? :rolleyes1

Sure, once they see that you are into it, they'll usually play right along. Enjoy!

I have plenty of pics of my dad, mom, and grandmother with characters at meals, it was so funny! :rotfl:

Adults wait in line along with the kids and get autographs, and noone minds. It is the happiest place on Earth, and this does not apply to children only. :yay:

My wife and I have just as much fun with the characters as our kids. At Chef Mickey's we had a blast with Goofy, Chip and Dale. Goofy is famous at CM's for playing practical jokes on our children (and my wife).
Awesome character interaction!! :thumbsup2

I'm 41 and my husband is 44 we enjoy the charcter meals, plus I stand in line for my picture with them; just watch out for the kids, they will cut in line!

I was waiting in line once and kids kept cutting in front of me, finally I said something to the next family that thought this was going to happen. The Dad popped off his mouth at me and when I responded the CM standing with the Character's mouth fell open. I love interacting with the characters and I don't do it often but....I have my favorites too.

Dh and I let the kids be the star of the moment with the charters, at chef mickey's dale made us pose for pictures with him. And we were standing inline for the Incredibles and I guess I was looking frazzled, Mr. Incredible came over and gave me a hug and kissed my hand. It was sweet.

I got plenty of hugs on our trip, and am looking forward to more fun on the next trip. Where else can you get slurped by a giant dog and have the photo framed?

heh, I'm about 6'9", 300 lbs and my family gets a kick out of me getting pictures with the characters. My personal favorite is Donald but I like getting pics with Goofy, Baloo, etc. because they're around the same height as me ... ;)

Many of the characters will make some kind of gesture or big deal about how tall I am. My kids love it.

I'm another one who gets excited meeting characters. I've been known to squeal out a character's name and run for a hug too. Age has nothing to do with it. :thumbsup2

Oh good, cuz that's me, too!!! It's starting to produce the "OMG that's not my mom" reaction in oldest DS (9)!! Oh well eventually he'll come to realize that life is too short to waste time worrying about what others think!

Me and my DH get our pictures with the characters along with our children often! I love the Character interaction at the Character meals just as much as the kids!! Go for it and have a ball, that is what Disney is all about!
