Has anyone booked using email to Member Services? If so, how long did it take until they emailed you back with confirmation or denial?

I emailed them yesterday before dawn and I am still waiting for a reply.

Thanks in advance,

I think their stated goal is to respond to emails within 3 business days. Sometimes it is within hours, but Mondays are typically very busy days for MS. Good Luck!

I'v had mixed response on emailing Member Services. Recently I sent a email at about 6:30 AM and had a response back before 9 AM. Other times I have waited three days for a response.

As things stand now, if I were making a reservation during a poplular time period, I would call instead of email, since email seems to be a fill in, after all the telephone calls have been handled. I would hope that would eventually change, so email and telephone got equal priority.

We waited 7 days (5 working) for a simple booking query which they had made a mistake on. When they did bother to reply they made the same mistake again. So we ended up phoning but because we live in the north of Scotland it is not cheap being on hold for 15 mins.

I don't see why MS doesn't have some people on the phones and others handling the e-mails at all times. Just designate one or two specific people to handle the e-mails and then when there is a lull in the e-mail they can help out on the phones, and it wouldn't have to be the same person all the time, they could rotate daily. Seems like a simple solution to me. Anybody have any other suggestions?

I have never booked using email but I have had questions answered many times within a day or two.
