Emailing Disney?

Hi Everyone,

I've just gone ahead and booked mine and my partners first trip to Disney just on our own with no family for next year to celebrate 10 years of being together, woo-hoo.

I was wondering, there was nothing throughout the booking process where it asked if I wanted to add any notes to the booking, is it possible to email Disney and add a couple of requests on such as a preferred location and celebratory buttons to be waiting when we check in? They're not hugely important things, I just thought it would be nice if we could get a specific location of room.

If so, do any of you have the email address as I was worried the generic one provided under the contact us section, may not be able to pass the email onto the hotel and a specific one may be needed?

I tried to briefly ring the UK number but the wait yesterday was 45 minutes and as I said, isn't that important that I'll sit on hold for 45 mins for a request and 2 badges :)

The generic form on the website will get you a response. Sometimes they will forward your email, sometimes they'll give you a phone number, and sometimes they'll deal with it directly. It's certainly the best place to start if the phone lines are busy!! :)

As there's no rush, if you are around at 10an when the lines open on a Sunday, call then. I got straight through at 10am last week.
 

Call them don't email them. They can make notes on your booking at their end that should show on your next email from them. Once you get your MDE app working and set up for your stay you can add things in there like special celebrations and later you can choose things for your room allocation however they will not allow you to request a specific room, you get to choose room view/ type ( standard/ water/ garden/ preferred) on booking so all that's left to do is choose a floor, whether you want to be close to a bus stop/ parking lot or if you picked something like a preferred room they ask which building you want. They may also ask if you want to be close to an elevator or the lobby. I think this all tends to be about 60 days before you arrive. You can always wait until you get there to discuss it with the CMs on the registration desks. The app will also trigger an alert for you to choose and set up your magic bands which you will need to pick up on check-in. Technology has finally caught up in WDW. Of course if you don't like your allocated room you can always go back to the front desk and explain it to them and see if they can provide something more suitable ( price permitting ).
