OK so in all our many trips I have never had to email the hotel before we went for specific requirements as we have always been happy to be housed wherever but for this trip I would like to request a specific block due to health reasons and also I need to confirm the booking for a cot in the room, something else I have never had to do.
So my question is when is the best time to email them? We arrive on 8/12 so would it be best to contact them the week before or earlier?
Also can someone advise me of the correct email address please.
Thanks in advance.xx

I just call the hotel direct with any room requests etc, around 5 days before we check in :).

All the onsite hotels direct phone numbers are in our very useful information sticky at the top of the forum (booking and contact information). If you do decide to phone, remember to use a cheap discount dial number first, to get the call for 0.5p per minute from your UK landline.

Thanks Hun,I prefer to email as I have a few things to ask and need to make sure I remember them all so it's easier if I write them down in a email then that way I can re read it to check I haven't forgot anything, plus I always get a bit tongue tied on the phone so email is better!

Ive always read that its best to email the week before because they only have your reservation come through roughly a week before and thats when they start allocating the rooms.

So for example im going to be staying in the santa fe from next wednesday and i will be sending an email today with my room request.

Hope this helps and hope you have a magical time! xxxpixiedust:

Sorry to interfere here, but we are staying in the Santa Fe next march, could i just ask what kind of room request you are asking for? I was under the impression all the rooms were the same? Or are u requesting a certain room in ascertain area of the hotel? What are your thoughts on the best room location at the Santa Fe? Many thanks.

I will just be asking for a room near to the facilities and possibly requesting a kettle in room also as not sure if they have one as standard.

All the rooms are the same in the santa fe now as they have all been refurbished but like i said i just want to try and be close to the reception/restaurant/bus stop etc.

When I emailed them it took them one week to answer back. I think it's best if you call them.

Also there is no kettle in the rooms but you can ask for one at the reception. They will charge you 20 euros for it but when you return it they will also return you the money for it.

For the room ask for an el dorado room which is very close to the main facilities of the hotel have in mind though that these rooms and the Rio Grande ones come with a small charge unless of course you already paid for it in your package when you booked.

any idea if any of the rooms still have bunk beds?

Does anyone have the direct number for the Sequoia for room reservations?!

Thanks :D

::yes:: Yes it is, as Elaine said in post no. 2, you can find it and the other hotel numbers here. :)

So is there an actual email address for the Cheyenne or do I just email guest relations.
I really don't want to phone them.

Email guest relations, the actual hotel email address is not made public with the exception of the DLH
