Last month I received an email pin code discount (and using it I called and booked a package)
The package is:
2 adults
Jan 29 - Feb 2
4 nights at Pop
3 day Hopper Ticket
2 Plus Passes
Dining
No Insurance
Total Cost (with Email Pin) = $963.20
Just called Disney back to price out the new YRD code -- I was given the exact same price for the above package using the code -- so the YRD code is exactly the same as the email offer that had been sent out.
The CM working with me on the reservation was very nice and I asked her whether she had heard any rumors about them offering free dining again and she said she heard the opposite - that it would NOT be offerred. She said Disney had offered the free dining as a way of introducing the new program and creating a buzz about it - and that the dining plan is now SO successful - they will not be offering it free again.
Also asked her if she thought there might be any more codes coming out soon for the Jan-March period and was told that she did not think so and that the email code/YRD code I was using was "a very good price". Incidentally, I inquired about the cost to upgrade to a moderate and it was another $233 from what I am now paying ($963).
Just thought I would share the info I just learned with all my DIS friends!
