EMAIL Issue and Question please?

My teens can't answer this techno question
so hope you can!

With gmail, I've heard there's a feature you can enable that tells you when your email has been read by the recipient.

I've also heard that feature's available with Yahoo, too.

But how (or where) do you implement that?

Help please!

I don't think Gmail has this feature. It also depends on the person receiving the email, their email program may not be setup to send them.

I don't believe you can request a read receipt from Gmail's web interfacr but if you use a web client like Outlook to attach to the Gmail account via IMAP or SMTP/POP you should be able to use the client to send the receipt request.

Keep in mind that in almost all cases the recipient can block the sending of the read receipt.
