i figure this is the best place to ask this question.....the disney experts. Has anyone ever received an email from their resort asking if you have any questions or room requests for your stay? I've never had that before and was wondering if it is legitimate.

I'm going to guess it is likely legitimate, as resorts and DVC do change customer interaction protocols from time to time. But to be sure, check the header of the email and be sure the "from" address is a legitimate Disney company address domain.

And in your answer, do not share any information about yourself or your DVC membership. Room request should be OK, particularly if their email shows that they know your arrival and departure dates. But membership number etc.? No. Either they know that already because they're legitimate, or they don't know it because they're not legit.

I have never received this either and have stayed for 100s of visits. I booked 2 studios for Saratoga Springs for July 1-3 and I received the email. I asked if we could be close and in the Paddocks near the pool. We had a great room and just a few doors from each other. Maybe it is new.

Someone recently mentioned getting contacted by Sarasota Springs. I can't remember if it was by email.

(Very recent - LOL)
