I thought that we had finally gotten the elusive PIN, but we got the snowglobe email. Darn! Guess we have to keep trying. Anyone ever gotten a PIN after getting the snowglobe email?

Check the email carefully. Some people have reported finding a pin code on the bottom of these emails.
To answer your question, yes. People have received offers shortly after the globe, but others just got the globe.

I received the same snowglobe email about a month ago. A week later I received a pin for 10% all resorts for the month I entered I was most interested in returning. While Im happy to have received a pin 10% off didnt even bother applying it to our ressie will holdout for better

My husband and I are...doing the PIN dance this morning. I woke up and checked his email and the much wished for PIN was there. Got 30% off for our December trip! So excited! Thank you to everyone on here who gave me the advice on how to get one. Went on the WDW website last week and saved some trips and then cancelled them and then tried again and then didn't go on the website for a few days. Got that snowglobe email and I thought that was the end of me, but my wishes were answered this morning. Can you tell I'm excited?! I even was able to add another day to our package!
