We had the BEST CM server I have ever had the pleasure of meeting at Mama Melrose's and I was wondering if there was a way to email the restaurant directly about her or a customer service email so she can get praise for being wonderful? Her name is Holly, by the way, and she was special and I feel that someone should know that.:goodvibes :thumbsup2 :lovestruc

You could try the calling the 800 WDW Dining Line, and see if they have good advice on how to get your praise to the restaurant. I think that would be your best bet!

I have no practical advice for you but as a server years ago I just think it is great that you are willing to go out of your way to recognize this CM.
Too often people are way quicker to complain than praise.. I am sure she will really appreciate it:goodvibes

We had Holly as our server the past two years in a row! Short blonde hair right? She is fantastic!

Yes, that's her! We had a group that included a 9 month old, 3 kids 7-11 and 4 adults. She was almost able to anticipate what we needed/wanted and that made our meal so relaxing. She ALWAYS had a smile and she just had this really cool vibe about her that made us all very comfortable. The kids all had to find her when we were leaving to say " Goodbye, Holly". That's how memorable she was, the kids all knew her name and you know how many people you encounter on a WDW trip! I just feel like Mama's needs to know what a special employee they have in Holly.:lovestruc

In the past if our server is special we will ask to see the manager before we leave. This always freaks-out the server.

We actually did this last week at Chefs de France. We had a new server from France had been here 2 weeks. His name was Olivier he was charming, courteous, very helpful, had a wonderful smile and was very attentive to our table. Yes it good to give a little extra tip, but it always good to inform the restaurant how pleased you are with the service. I know in the past we've heard how rude the servers are in France, we love our server and hope he get many more good reviews.

We've been told by the managers that they rarely get good reviews on a server only bad, and they do make note's in their files about great service too. So we make it a point to praise our servers when the service is outstanding.

Yeah, Holly is great. My 80 year old Nana still talks about her! :goodvibes

While this won't be direct to the restaurant itself, Walt Disney World Guest Communications will definitely make sure that compliments are routed to the Cast Member's boss so that she'll be recognized. You can send your compliments to wdw.guest.communications@disneyworld.com

Enjoy the Magic, & help keep it being spread!

Thank you! I will definitely contact them.:thumbsup2

I just wanted to say that I sent an email to the address posted on this thread and a few days later, I received a phone call from the executive offices of WDW telling me that they appreciated that I took the time to let them know about a Cast Member that had made such a big impression of us and that they would make sure that she and her managers would know what we had said. It was a really wonderful phone call and I just wanted to let others know that they really did listen and care about just one email.:thumbsup2
