Email for China Giveaway

Got an email for AP holders for a trip to china giveaway. But it is looking for my AP ID number. here can I find that? It just says AP Gold under MDE.

I don't remember a contract at least I don't think I do. I have DVC number and that is on my contract. but I just bought the APs at guest services and they linked them to my band. They gave me cards but I don't remember if those had numbers on them or not.

The cards definitely have the number on them. However, I can't find my card cause I never use it. So, I figured since I do the monthly option maybe it was there.

Got the same email and went to enter and got stopped at the same place. I went onto MDE thinking it might be there but nope. I'm at work and don't carry my card around with me in my every day life so I guess I'll have to wait until I get home and dig it out. I know where it is (I think) at home. I might have even thrown it away since I renewed it a couple of months ago and knew I'd get another one at GS when I went again.

Try going into the MDE app under my profile then magic bands and cards. You will see all magic bands and admission cards currently assigned to you. The AP card will have an orange stripe across the bottom and says annual passholder. Interestingly I did not renew my AP but rather bought a new one six months later-it shows both AP # in my profile.

Interesting it has a number but I have my AP in front of me and the only number on it is a 6 digit number, the number in my profile is a long one with 12 numbers and letters. Which one is correct? I entered the contest using the one on my card and it took it, maybe tomorrow I'll do it again with the one in my profile. I have two pictures of cards in my profile and they both say active, I don't have two active APs and the two cards have different numbers beside them.

Sorry this is OT but I'm just curious, why don't you ever use your AP card? You never use it for discounts?

Nope. I use the passholder discount card instead.

I just used the number that you would put in to MDE to link a ticket for the number that it asked me for.
