email discounts

Can anyone tell me if the email discount is the same as the sept room only discount? We booked a room at contemp wing using sept code and was quoted $177.00 (includes tax). Did anyone get lower rate with email code? Won't feel so bad about not getting email if it is same discount. thanks

I think that is kind of hard to answer. The Email code was kind of funny because the discounts were all the same from Sept - December. However, October is Regular Season not Value Season. So if you booked in October you got an even better deal. The resorts are more expensive in October, but I got the same price as someone who would have booked for September (Value Season).
I got AKL pool view for $121 + Tax per night. I would consider that a great rate for Regular Season at this resort. Rack rate for this room in October (Regular Season) is $260 per night. That is about a 55% discount off of rack rate. That is the best discount I have ever gotten. I think the September room only discount was more than the $121 per night I got with the Email code.
