Email and Snail Mail Codes??

Has anyone who ALREADY had a room booked ever received an email or regular mail Pin Code offer?? Or do they mail them out strictly to get you to book a room? We have a room booked in April from the 16-23 and I am wondering if I should stop wishing on all those stars!

That is a good question, I was thinking the same thing. When I asked a CM about it he said the marketing department goes through to look at travel history and if you haven't traveled in awhile or if they offered you a code you may upgrade to another resort level, etc. He didn't indicate it was random, but I too am wondering if our chances were better to receive a code if we didn't already have a booked room, I am loosing hope.

Yep! I made a ressie end of Oct. 2004 for January 2005 and received an e-mail from Disney with a code Nov. 9th! I had already used a code to make my original reservation, but the e-mail code was, I think $10 cheaper (the AP rate) on a moderate. Good luck! I hope it happens to you also!

We had a room reserved at AKL in 2001 and received a card (announcing AKL discount) shortly after. We already had a good discount, so didn't use it.

I am thinking of planning a trip in may... my first real big vacation just me and my girlfriend. How do people get these discounts? Is their somewhere to sign up.

Currently the offer I can get through AAA is staying at Pop for $84.14 a night - I have a disney visa as well, just waiting on more specials if there will be any. Suggestions????

I had booked the "5 plus 2" package for last October. Then, before my final payment was due, I received an email with PIN. I did some quick calculations, and decided that my original package was cheaper, since it also included 2 free days of tickets.

I'm hoping for another email, tho. Maybe it'll convince my DH to make a return trip this year!
