Elsa Characters-what is going on?

What are everyone's children making of the Elsa characters when they meet them?
I hate to say this as we I have as we are a big fan of the character meets and photos in the past but from pictures I don't think they look that good-this applies for all Elsas, The characters in the park, the Disney on Ice one and even the Elsa dress up wig.
The huge quiff at the front of Elsa's hair just doesn't look right -I'm not sure why Disney seem to make it her hair so big for her head it isn't really like that in the film?

So am I just completely over thinking this and do your children even notice that Elsa doesn't really look quite right? (I think Anna looks great by the way)

Anna is easier to pull off from what I am seeing in pictures. My DD7 could care less what Elsa looks like, she just wants to get next to her dress. Even watches Once Upon A Time (OUAT) to get to look at Elsa's dress each week. BTW OUAT Elsa is who my DD7 thinks looks the most like Elsa.

I saw a post on Facebook from a french lady saying the same, i had noticed Elsa's hair does not look the best ever but had not commented thinking maybe i was critizing too much

Queues were 5 hours when we were there so we didn't bother trying to see them! The shortest queue time we saw was 3 hours on the Monday morning.

I must also say I dont like how Elsa looks but I guess kids dont mind and as long they are happy thats the most important... just hope who every wants to meet them dont have to wait for so long

Oh dear, I have to agree, when I met Elsa in DLH a couple of weeks ago, the wig was awful and it looked like it was going to fall off her head. However, the interaction from both Anna and Elsa more than made up for it, they were fantastic.

I also met sleeping beauty at the princess pavillion and I had to take a second look...oh god, I feel so bad for saying this but I thought it was a bloke dressed up! Again interaction was on point but honestly, other than the dress there was no resemblence to Aurora at all. It wasn't a bloke but it wasn't sleeping beauty, I don't know who done the make up but it was really caked on and she had a huge flat nose...oh dear I feel like an awful person for saying all this.

Like I say, I was willing to forgive as the interaction was on point, the girl was very sweet and I'm sure a very pretty girl but the usual illusion did not work at all. I also met sleepiung beauty at stars n cars and she looked like aurora, its sad but my heart skips a beat when I meet characters which happened at stars in cars but the princess pavillion was like a bad joke

I have to say, I think it's been the same at WDW too. Anna always seems to look better than Elsa - think it's the hair as others have said. A lovely lady on here kindly sent me a nice photo for my girls from summer at WDW and I have to say, I did comment on Elsa's 'look' to her . But, to be fair, my DDs were so in awe, they didn't even notice! And said lady commented that while she wasn't the most genuine looking character, she more than made up for it in interaction .

I think its Elsa hear that just don't fit properly... dont know maybe Disney should re think and re design it

sisters also are now in Hong Kong and I think Elsa looks better but I guess become its not a close-up picture
