I've had no luck in getting Fast Passes to visit with Elsa and Anna in the Magic Kingdom. (We are only visiting MK). Is there anywhere else that they will appear (parades, etc.)? I've heard that the wait times can be tremendous. Thanks in advance.

Yes they are in the parade. Are you staying on site ? If so go on an EMH day be there at rope drop at the front of the line with no wait. Even the first hour during EMH not too bad. No fast passes then.

If not on site be there at regular rope drop. This is tougher because people will have fast passes.

Enjoy your trip

We are staying on site but the only day we have for Magic Kingdom is not an EMH day. We could still try to be there early, thank you! It's also good to know that they will appear in a parade so my daughter can at least catch a glimpse if we end up not able to do the meet and greet. Thanks for the info.

I say if they want to meet them that bad put some good songs jn the iPhone and huddle through the stanby line...it's gonna suck but it sounds like it will make their trip

You make a good point but I guess it will all depend on the situation. I want to make the most out of the one day we have, but perhaps a 4 year old girl *would* place more value on meeting A&E than getting to do more things. :) Something to think about.

Yeah I mean if frozen means that much to her just do it...download an episode or two of the podcast and just swallow your pride lol.

I made DH stand in line for the 7 dwarfs at the christmas party for an hour and thirty minutes it went by quickly - my photos will last forever.

Go at rope drop trust us

When my group was switching out FPs last year, we managed to snag A&E for the next day. It's unlikely, but it happens! We also got 7DMT this way! Keep checking for them - they may show up when you're already there. Checking during breaks can't hurt.

Be at rope drop in the front. We got to the parks at 6:30 for a 7 am start. Do not watch the opening ceremony be in line ready to move with the crowds. For A & E go to the left.

They will walk you through. We got through in about 5 minutes
Go at rope drop it will not be that long of a wait.

This is the way to do a&e without a fp+

Thank you! We are driving in this day so will need to make sure to arrive extra early to be there at rope drop. Sounds like this is the way to go if no Fast Pass comes up. Thanks again!

We did the same thing and oddly enough most people ran to SDMT and we were 3rd in to see E&A. They were in the pre-show though so it took a few minutes for them to arrive. We were out and in line for SWMT ay 7:20am

Oh and if you have a stroller, have your DH park it and you get in line PRONTO. Messing around with the stroller will get you 10-20 back in line - no joke.

If for some reason rope drop does not work out for you, I have also heard that during Main Street Electrical parade and Wishes fireworks in the evening, the A&E line thins out a little. I don't have personal experience with this, but I overheard someone say it worked for them last October. That's assuming your family doesn't mind missing the nighttime parade & fireworks, and can manage the later night of course.

We did A&E at RD - DH worked his way to the front before they started walking and we tried our best to keep up - he just went straight to the line - we were about 10 people back - waited 30 min (because of FP people). I agree with Suzanne74 - go straight to the line - let someone else park the stroller! It was worth it for sure - we have a great photo - and they are only little once! Also there is the Frozen Sing a Long at HS - super favorite for us!

back in Oct we had a 20 minute wait at 1:00 AM :) if your kids are night owls (and the park is open late), that could be an option as well

Just got back and nailed A&E at Rope Drop twice in a row. First day I was 3rd, second day I was 1st.

It doesn't matter which side of the train you're on (the two tunnels) because on the first day I was on the right and second I was on the left. Also you don't have to be absolutely the front, because we were about 10 people back on the right side on the first day (our annual passes weren't properly linked to our MBs so the MBs didn't work at the turnstile, I was...not happy.)

Here's what you do: walk swiftly up the left side of main street in the street not on the sidewalk. Try to weave through people if possible because you want to be as close to the rope as you can. I pushed a stroller with 2 kids up main street and through the castle, and while we were in the castle I switched the stroller to my wife and took my daughter ahead on foot. You can't have a stroller if you want to be in the first few groups.

As you get through the castle they will announce you're going left around the carousel, stay left here. Do not be on the right side of the pack. Why? Because on the far side of the carousel is stroller parking, and the pack walks around the stroller parking. If you're on the right you will literally walk right into the stroller parking and you'll end up going left and you'll be behind people who started on the left. This is another reason you don't have to be absolutely in the front. Most people are on the right side of the pack because that's the quickest way to FairyTale Hall when you're coming out of the castle, so this gives you some time to get left and up near the front of the rope as everyone else is right. Once they figure out they have to go around the carousel they will be behind you. Remember, stroller parking is like 30 feet wide, so a lot of people will have to shift to their left.

As soon as you get towards the end of stroller parking a CM will say "Follow me to Anna and Elsa". Get as close to that person as possible! That person will literally walk into A&E's line and everybody follows him/her into the line.

From what I saw on Fri and Sat last week this is the best way to go. If you aren't in the absolute front of the entrance you'll still be OK. The most important thing is to get yourself near the rope by the time you get to the castle. That's like 200 yards where you can pass people (walk, don't run) who are taking pictures and "enjoying the sights". So even if you walk through the train station and see 200 people in front of you that doesn't mean you're in trouble. Just walk with a mission and get yourself to the left side of the street. Then you need to be properly positioned as you come through the castle. You need to be near the left side of the rope as you walk around the carousel.

Use these tips and you will have a successful A&E experience. My daughter was so "in shock" all she could do was lean forward and stare up at Elsa!
