Hi! If you can transfer into the ride vechicle, will they let you on the ride? I can transfer and my fiancee can transfer as well if needed. its my fiancee's first time to DW and that is a wonderful ride.

Universe of engerygy has very nice accessible seating. Lately I have heard that they have had some "tipping" issues with thier ramps and power chairs. We have asked once of twice if DW could transfer and they usualy just say, "you don't need to" which is eaiser for us.

I would say that if you explain your situation you have a chance.

I have heard about tipping situations a few years ago with some of the bus ramps, but not any problems with rides. The ramp at Ellen's Energy Adventure is not that steep, so I am surprised there is a problem.
Update: I see where the problem was discussed on this thread. I know some people with longer wheelchairs may not be able to fit their wheelchair into the wheelchair space for the ride.
I am not sure (since we have only ridden with DD in her wheelchair), but I think there is not space for 2 wheelchair users to ride together in the same accessible car.
I guess we would need to know more about what you mean by being able to transfer to give better advice. For example, can either of you walk, or will you be making a lateral transfer into a seat? What kinds of wheelchairs do you have?

Hi! We both can make a straight across with little or no difficulty.
