Hey folks, can anybody tell me if there is any merchandise available in the parks for "Ellen's Energy Adventure"?

This November, I will be attending a convention where Jamie Lee Curtis will be the main guest, and I would love to have something from the attraction for her to autograph. I've been to several of these conventions before, and in my experience the celebs always get a kick out of it when somebody asks them about one of their more obscure projects (I once met Heather Langenkamp at a show, and at this point she's been asked every question there is to ask about her role in the "Nightmare on Elm Street" movies, but when I asked her about the short-lived sitcom "Just The Ten Of Us" that she was on, she went on and on about it and exclaimed "Nobody ever wants to talk about that!"). I'll be in Disney at the end of September/beginning of October, so I figured this would be a perfect opportunity to snag something from the "Ellen" ride for her to sign. This is a horror film convention, so I'm assuming that 95% of the people getting her autograph will have something from the "Halloween" films to get signed, so I'd love to see her face if I present her with something from "Ellen's Energy Adventure", lol. :lmao:

I can't recall seeing any merchandise for the ride, but I figure if anybody knows, it would probably be one of the experts at the Dis, :goodvibes. Thanks!

Sorry, but I didn't see any merchandise for Ellen's Energy Adventure last October.

Unfortunately, I don't think I've ever seen merchandise from that particular attraction. Your best bet would probably be to check eBay for things that might have been sold when it very first opened. (I've noticed a lot of less popular attractions start out offering merchandise when they first open, but then offer less and less as time goes on; HISTA did that, for example, and Captain EO is heading that way, so I wouldn't be surprised if the same happened with this ride.)

Stupid Judy!:rotfl:

How about taking a photo of sign outside the building - have it printed in 8x10 size?

I actually laughed out loud when reading this thread title.

I would ask her about Trading Places. I'd peg it as a decent chance that she doesn't remember that she's in this ride. It was probably one day of taping and who knows if she's even been on the ride?

lol . .. . ok, I have to admit it . . . I actually LIKE Ellen's Energy Adventure :lmao:

Of course, I also like Journey Into Your Imagination, and dare I say it, Captain EO :rotfl2:

I, however, have never seen any merch, but a Stupid Judy shirt would be AWESOME . . . Are you listening Disney?

Or better yet, a Stupid Judy pin!! Or an Ellen's Energy magnet or pin:thumbsup2. I'd buy it in a second, my whole family loves this attraction.

I love all three of those attractions, too, especially Captain EO. (I own multiples of every EO-related item that was sold with the re-release, in addition to lots of original 80s things, if that tells you how seriously I take it. I even have a DVD of it, but don't tell Disney that...;)) I would love merchandise from Ellen's Energy Adventure.

Thanks for the replies everyone! I was just doing a Google search on this attraction to see what I could come up with, and I actually found article on the D23 site from last year where they got quotes from several celebrities who've been a part of Disney attractions, and Jamie Lee Curtis was one of them:

Jamie Lee Curtis
(Dr. Judy Peterson, Ellen’s Energy Adventure, Epcot, 1996 – Present)
What I remember and love about being a part of Ellen’s Energy Adventure was being a brainiac. I don’t often play a smart person, just a smart aleck—whomever Aleck is.

I was kinda thinking there really wasn't any merchandise from this attraction, but I figured I might as well ask to see if anybody had ever seen anything. My roommate is a graphic designer and I've gone to a few shows where I had commissioned him to come up with some original artwork to have autographed, and that always seems to go over pretty well. I think that may be the way to go in this instance. Perhaps I'll have him do something with Dr. Judy standing at her 'Jeopardy' podium with Ellen peeking out from behind her looking disgruntled, :lmao:.

I would love an update on how the meet and greet goes with Ms. Curtis! Please consider updating this thread after it's over....

Our family always laments the lack of merchandise for this attraction. Honestly, the preshow itself could offer merchandise. We have been known to wait just to watch the preshow from the beginning. Our family loves quoting things from the pre-show:

"And you think about that next time."
"No, not you. Well, your's is fine"
"And noone in New York locks their doors."
"Where have you been? You're late."
"Einstein is nowhere, relatively speaking."

What an underrated attraction!

This is one of my faves as well! (and I've only seen EO once, but really liked it, and looking forward to seeing it again with my DS in October). I don't think I'd buy a "Stupid Judy" t-shirt though, since I have a DSIL named Judy who is .... well.... :rolleyes1 and an aunt named Judy, whom I love.

We love this attraction too. My autistic son calls it University of Energy! So of course now that's what we call it. He LOVES Ellen!
