Ellen at Universal March 28th

Just announced, Ellen's show is taping at Universal again.

Tickets are still available:

At least one (maybe two) shows taped on that day.

She was there in 2007 and 2008, but not last year.

I'm always amazed that she goes there...seeing as how she has Ellen's Energy Adventure at WDW...I'm surprised that doesn't void some contract or something.

I don't even think her show is produced by Universal anymore either. I think it's WB now. Oh well, she loves the place!

Oh I'd really LOVE to see Ellen, but we are missing her by a few days. Does this mean HP will be open?? lol (I can hope!!!)

I'm not sure if wwohp will be soft opening by then, but I think it's safe to say that we will be seeing ellen and possibly her audience taking a tour around hogsmeade. It would be a great promo for the soon to be opening area, and I can't imagine that the timing is accidental, what with so much looking like it's nearing completion. Universal are being masterful with how they're marketing wwohp so far, and i personally think that they are prepping something special to tease us folks even further

I assume they still have some sort of contract to use her likeness in the ride, but I think any other contract Disney has with her ended when they cancelled her TV show back in the day.

I recieved a phone call that I received tickets the same day I requested them- which was 2/25. Has anyone else heard anything?

I also requested on 2/25 and thinking I would get tickets, booked a whole two day trip to Universal (including having to stay at Portofino for FOTL). I haven't heard anything and am kind of bummed out about it now.

I'm bummed too! I called on 2/26 because we will be there for a cheer competition that weekend. DH was soooo excited. Still no call and the tickets are all gone. ;o(

Does anyone know the Ellen taping times? I would at least like to be in the riff raff group and maybe see Ellen herself. But I have limited park time and can't hang out around the stage all day.
