if you do this can you please tell me a little more about the story???

DS announced today that the only thing he is asking Santa for is an elf-To me it seems like a conflict for the elf to show up Christmas morning. I was thinking a letter from Santa explaining that one would be sent for the next holiday season.

Any input on this would be appreciated-

Well, you could say that you sent Santa an email last night and he sent an Elf to your house immediately:rotfl: Our elf is pretty low-budget...he was a freebie stuffed elf from the Hallmark store last year. I had a $5 off coupon.

We received on eas a gift last year and my boys LOVE it. I have to admit my husband and I have a lot of fun with it also.

Basically, the elf arrives and you name him. The story is that he flies back to Santa every evening to report on the day's events - both good and bad. After hanging out with his elf friends, he makes the trip back and watches from a different location the next day. The kids have to find him in the morning and he can be sneaky! The one rule is you cannot touch him or he may lose his magic and not be able to report back to Santa.

Our elf arrives on Thanksgiving night and then rests at the North Pole begining Christmas Eve until next Thanksgiving.

Halmark carries the set and it has a book that explains the concept really well. This way the kids see in writing that you can not touch the elf etc...
