Elevator/Traffic noise

Hi everyone! I have a question for experienced cruisers...We're booked in room 6058 for this summer's cruise and I was just wondering how much noise I can expect since it seems like we are directly in front of the midship elevators? Also, where are the stairs located on the ship?

We were just on the second floor directly off the midship elevators, and never heard a thing! It was not noisy at all. There are stairs that are just opposite the elevators, and we used those most of the time anyway. (We used whatever means we could to work off some of those extra calories! )

The stairs are usually located across from the elevators. If you can find a ship diagram you can see this detail. The ship is really pretty quiet. If people are on the move in groups large enough to bother you in your stateroom it's a sign you're missing something fun and shouldn't be in your stateroom anyway!. The only time I had trouble with pedestrian traffic (stateroom 6154) is when some pre-teens decided to make the stairs their own special playground. Although I have not stayed in that stateroom, it looks like it would be pretty quiet...No activity areas above it. I think there is a directional sign on the wall near your dooor that shows which direction the stateroom numbers go. After a day or so people have usually figured out where their stateroom is and no longer need to make remarks while looking at the sign...
