Never been to Disneyland or DCA, but I know it's easier to park-hop there. I was wondering if is possible to watch the Eletrical Parade at DCA at 8:45 and still be able to catch the Fireworks in Disneyland at 9:25, on december 21. Thanks!

Well, I don't know about Dec 21st, it might be too jam-packed to do it, but on a normal day:

watch the E. parade from near Golden Dreams theater. I sat across from Jumpin' Jellyfish, but others have sat closer to GD and gotten out faster.

As soon as the parade ends, start walking out towards Grizzly. Go either way around Grizz; going to the right is a longish path that takes you through a smoking section, and it comes out to the main path just after Grizz. Going left takes you on the main (more busy) path between GCH and Grizz.

Continue on the path, go past Soarin', then out of the park, cross the esplanade, and on a NORMAL day you'll probably be in Disneyland before the parade even gets to the Sunshine Plaza.

You're not going to get primo viewing, but you'll at least be there.

But that close to xmas, all bets are off, especially in finding any spot to view the fireworks, from what I've read!!!

Bumbershoot's "dual-entertainment plan" works perfectly because if you sit where she has said and walk the route described, you are a step ahead of the mass of people leaving DCA going to Disneyland AND a step behind the people already in Disneyland set for fireworks.

During the really busy days, the X factor in the above plan is crowds and getting through the turnstile at DL. This is where you will lose valuable minutes and will be very hard pressed to make it in time for fireworks. You will catch some of the show - but you would have to be very quick (and have some luck on your side) to make it to Main Street (much less prime viewing locations) for the beginning.

Are you only in the parks that one day? Are you aware that the Believe fireworks are shown nightly throughout the Christmas season? I'll be there on the 19-21st, and am planning to catch the fireworks on the 19th or 20th, so I can catch the DEP and F! on the 21st.

Doing DEP on a different day than fireworks? Chicken. ;)

Unfortunatelly, I can't spend two nights, but only one. I'm leaving the next day at 5 to the airport.

We did Bumbershoot's plan in May--when it wasn't very crowded, and it worked perfectly... still almost killed my poor dm (who is in her 60s) with how fast we had to walk... and then the whole salmon swimming upstream thing fibbing to cms that our family is "up there" and pointing generally into the masses of people on Main Street.... but we did it.
