Elephant Ears? Photo?

OK my Hubs has noticed that Boulangerie Patisserie in France sell Elephant ears and I have no idea what these are LOL.

Does anyone have a photo of these please and describe what they are?

In French it's called a palmier. It's sweet and flaky, and one of my favourite treats

elephant ears are just another name for fried dough you can top elephant ears with fruit toppings, cinnamon, sugar and anything else they have available to put on top of it
