My granddaughter loves Elena! She definitely wants to do Elena at BBB, and has her heart set on meeting Elena at the park!

Does anyone have any pictures of the Elena makeover at BBB, and is Elena found in the parks? Can you get fastpass for a meet and greet??

Thanks!!!

There's a BBB thread on the board somewhere, I tried to find it but unable to. You may want to post on that thread if no response.

We did Cinderella/Elena FP on Sunday, 2/5. The CM at the FP front entrance alluded that Elena wasn't "guaranteed" to be there. When we walked in Elena was there. Not sure why the CM said that...as it kind of unnerved my wife and I while we were waiting in line, but all was good.

My four-year-old is PUMPED to meet her as well! She is bringing her Elena parks dress a friend brought back for us for Halloween, and packing her scepter as well. I can't wait to see her dressed up and meeting the real Elena.

Only the Princesses who picture is out front is guaranteed. If it is a crown then it could be any Princess. Unless Elena's picture is out there, no they are not guaranteeing she will be there.

My friend told me right now they are having trouble finding friends of Elena who not only look like her (in Disney's eyes), fits in the costume, is personable but are also fluent in Spanish. There have been some issues with having to use others and kids have walked up speaking Spanish, oops...... I wonder if this continues to be a problem if they wouldn't pull back on Elena to just the hours they can staff with a bi-lingual Elena.

She was definitely there the end of Jan with Cinderella. It was a must for my daughter. I did notice that it was a must do for the visitors of Hispanic or South American origin. It was pretty neat to watch the little girl in front of us light up when Elena started talking to her in Spanish or it could have been Portugese as I wasn't close enough to hear.

my daughter went with some friends to MK in December, one of her friends wanted more than anything to meet Cinderella, they did not have a fp, Cinderella's picture was out along with the crown next to her for the "visiting princess" after making a 50 minute line, Cinderella was not there, it was Aurora and Elena, I think that they cannot guarantee any characters, even if they are on a schedule, characters get sick, have emergencies, just like us normal folks.

We met Elena twice in December. First visit she was amazing, and my DD convinced me to buy her to dress ($48 with AP discount, so I thought it was worthwhile lol!) then second time in the dress. We got FP's and she was really a wonderful princess to meet - very outgoing and chatty. If BBB doesn't have Elena dresses you can buy one and bring it of course!

There's a commercial on TV that mentions Elena at BBB.... And she started asking once she saw the commercial. LOL
I bought an Elena dress at Walmart that I will give her for Easter. We have an appointment in the afternoon of our arrival day. The next morning, we'll be going to Magic Kingdom, so I am hoping to be able to get a fastpass for her to meet Elena while she's dressed up! I know that will make her day!!!!

Thanks for the info everybody!!! Here's to hoping she's there when we're there!!!!

No character is guaranteed. Never assume anything about a character at Disney. And for sure don't promise a kid they can meet one

Elena is my 7 year old's favourite so fingers crossed she will be there when we go <3

Does anyone know if Elena is now bilingual? My DGDs LOVE her, but they're bilingual (Mom's Mexican, speaks Spanish, Dad's American, mostly speaks English).

Just FYI...that commercial specifically mentions DisneyLand. My husband mentioned it to me one day after he's seen it, since our youngest adores Elena. I zeroed in on it when I saw it come on and noticed that. The same is not advertised for WDW, but that doesn't mean they don't offer it. We are hoping we get to meet her also, and bringing our own Disney Parks Elena dress that a friend brought back for us last year.

If you read above this is the issue with her friends. She is and they are struggling to fill her role with girls who look like her, fit the dress and are bilingual. Which is understandable.

I don't see how this would be that difficult given all of the beautiful bilingual girls that could play the character. Why would they try and find someone that looked like a cartoon? That seems odd. Does the wardrobe department have one Elena dress and that's why they can't find anyone to fit in it? Seems like Disney would employ a seamstress or a tailor as not every princess in the parks has the same measurements. I doubt it unheard of for a dress to be taken in or hemmed up a bit.

OP, I'm super excited too see Elena as well. My 4 year old sings the theme song beautifully I would love it if she could sing it for her during a character meet. I'll keep my fingers crossed for both of us.
