I'm wondering first if it is necessary/useful to keep these documents, and second whether there are electronic copies online somewhere so I don't have to scan them.

- BUENA VISTA TRADING COMPANY Exchange Programs Disclosure Document for Corporate Participants July 1, 1998.

- DISNEY VACATION CLUB MEMBER GETAWAYS DISCLOSURE GUIDE ABOUT THE INTERVAL INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE PROGRAM July 1, 1997.

- Disney Vacation Club MULTI-SITE PUBLIC OFFERING STATEMENT 8/98

- Disney Vacation Club at Disney's BoardWalk Villas Component Site Public Offering Statement 8/98

DVC keeps changing the rules, so old doc don't mean much, they change what ever they want, so having the docs that apply to what you purchased doesn't matter.
I still have my docs from 1992 but they don't look much like the current docs.

Hmmm... that applies to the two exchange program docs for sure, but is it really true about the Offering statements? Nothing in there is enforceable as written?

Most definitely keep the component site and multi-site POS’s. Those lay out what DVC is and the rights you have as an owner and club member, and both have many important things concerning those rights stated in them that Disney has no right to change. Portions of the component site POS, but definitely not all of it and not the multisite POS, can be found on the Orange County Comptroller’s site for downloading but you may someday need all of it and also the multisite POS. It may also be possible to get copies of both the component site and multisite POS from the Department of Business and Professional Regulation but that organization does not have an online search system for them, you have to be able to identify what you are seeking and date, and then, if found, it will charge you to provide copies and the total charge for those rather voluminous documents would likely be in the hundreds of dollars.

Your timing is impeccable. I just dumped the recycling bin in my office into the recycling bin for the house, so they were right up on top. :)

Thanks!
