Electronic Adapter

My son is going to England on a school trip soon. Does anyone have a suggestion of a converter/adapter to get for him to charge his iphone and possibly Kindle while there? We were told to get a British, not European, adapter. Thank you!

Here is a link to an adapter that will work. If those are the only 2 things he needs to charge, this will be great. If he is needing to charge more, he could always pack a power strip, plug everything into the power strip, then plug the power strip into this adapter and be fine. We always pack a power strip, plug all electronics into it and carry just one adapter. Most European hotels have very few outlets, so if he is sharing a room with someone, it might be a good idea to pack a power strip so everyone can charge at the same time.

Good advice - I have a similar adapter and also have a compact power strip for traveling. The OP could also get just a plug adapter for Great Britain and save even more money. He does not need a convertor or voltage regulator.

also they do sell them in England (we purchased what we thought was the 'right' one in a travel section - got there and it didn't work). We went into an electronics store and bought one quickly and easily
